There are 2 types of dates found in Rs.2 'Unity in Diversity' commemorative coins issued in 2006. If you look at the year on coin carefully, you will notice the difference in fonts.
The similar difference in date fonts is found in Rs.5 definitive coins issued in the years 2009 and 2010 as shown below:
