Germany: Deutsche Mark

For me, Germany is the most fascinating country in the world after Japan. I have been very curious about the era of Adolf Hitler, its partition after World War II and its reunification in 1990, its domination in the technology and associated businesses. I always loved German football team for their game skills. Having been read/heard so much about the partition of Hindustan, I feel that the reunification of East and West Germany was an outstanding event in human history. Hence I always wanted to have a German coin in my collection and Bingo..What a coin I have now.

Germany was using Deutsche Mark between 1948-2001. After the formation of European Union  currency 'Euro', Germany adopted 'Euro' as their main currency.
