Obverse features the Saudi emblem along with the lettering 'Khalid bin Abdul Al-Aziz Al Saud King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia'.

The Saudi Arabian national emblem was adopted in 1950. It consists of two crossed swords with a palm tree in the space above and between the blades.
The swords represent the two kingdoms of Hijaz and Nejd united under Ibn Saud in 1926.

Reverse features the denomination.
